Cargo Ganite Serves Up Marble at The Luxe!
Natural Stone expert, Cargo Granite has supplied a marble serving counter and granite bar tops for The Luxe Restaurant in Spitalfields, opened two months ago by MasterChef’s, John Torode.
The upstairs dining room boasts an impressive solid marble serving work surface in Carrera marble, a white mottled surface with grey tones and a silky polished finish. Whilst, the bar worktops are finished in Indian Black granite, a dark consistent granite that contrasts beautifully with the light coloured marble worktops.
The result is a mix of contemporary work surfaces that are sympathetic to The Luxe’s definitive style.
The Luxe building has had a varied and interesting past. Built in 1887, the premises have been a flower market, fire station and music venue - it’s fitting that the working areas are made from historical and natural sources such as marble and granite!
