healing properties. The origin of the word quartz is thought to derive from German
‘querklufterz’ used to describe the veins found in mining areas. Quartz, a natural form of
silicon dioxide is unique to other gemstones as it performs helically, meaning its internal
structure grows in a spiral. Our Classic Quartz® is assembled by hand, to highlight the
beautifully pure and reflective quality of this well known semi-precious stone. Often
referred to as the universal crystal, quartz is world renowned for its harmonizing and
balancing abilities.
