A: When your worktop has been cut and polished at our factory in Bedford you will be contacted to arrange a convenient time for us to return and fit your worktop. Fitting usually takes between 2-3 hours and we would recommend you are onsite to oversee installation. Once you are completely satisfied with your new worktop we will require the final 20% balance payable by cheque to our fitters.
To ensure we are able to fit your worktop we expect your kitchen to be in the following condition when our fitters arrive:
1. If any sink, tap or hob has been re-connected following templating they must be disconnected again.
2. Tiling in areas around worktops must take place after fixing worktops.
3. In the event of plasterwork etc being disturbed during fixing, all making good and subsequent costs will be the clients' responsibility.
4. We have neither the skills nor tools to undertake any plumbing, gas, electrical plastering or carpentry work.
5. Standing on the finished worktops must be avoided.
6. Granite 20mm thick weighs 60Kgs/m2, 30mm thick weighs 90Kgs/m2.
